India follow shortly behind with 1,331,338 people with DS. India also know as the Republic of India is the seventh largest country by geographical area. It is the second most populated country with 1.2 billion people. India has the eleventh largest economy in the world and over 400 languages are spoken within the country. Additionally, it is a founding member of the United Nations. The United States although it has the third largest prevalence in the world it is minute in comparison to India and China, with 367, 069 people with DS. The United States is a federal constitutional republic and is the 4th largest country by geographical area. Furthermore, it is the worlds largest economy with an estimated GDP of 14.3 trillion dollars. The population is the 3rd largest behind China and India, however it is the only industrialized nation where large population increases are projected. Overall, these top three countries are the three most populated countries in the world.
